Nourishing Communities Togetherβ€Œ

Your Round Up Donations Make a Difference for Neighbors Facing Food Insecurity

Each time you round up or put cash in our donation boxes, you help provide groceries for the growing number of individuals and families in our communities who are facing food insecurity.

This quarter, owners have donated $80,268 for hunger relief:

$76,063 donated for our Food for All discount.

68 Food for All participants received a free owner share.

756 Food for All participants received $57,577 in shopping discounts.

$4,175 cash box donations supported our Emergency Food Relief Fund.

$30,000 in Round Up Community Food Grants were awarded.

Excess funds from the Round Up donations support our Round Up Community Food Grants. Grant recipients this quarter were Jackson Center’s Heavenly Groceries, PORCH Hillsborough, UNC Center for Excellence in Community Mental Health, and Rogers Eubanks Neighborhood Association. When we accumulate enough excess funds, we will announce another round of Round Up Community Food Grants.
