Storm impacts on food offerings

On Sunday, tropical depression Chantal dumped an enormous amount of rain on our area, and we wish everyone in our community a swift recovery from the flooding and subsequent utility outages. Unfortunately, the Town of Hillsborough suffered a significant impact to their water system, and have a boil water notice in place until further notice. Because we cannot safely use our tap water for food preparation at this time, our Hillsborough store will be unable to offer some prepared foods until we are given the all-clear. Similarly, our Food House in Hillsborough is also unable to function normally until water issue is resolved, and we will be unable to stock our homemade bread, pastries, grab and go, and similar items in all four stores. Our cooks and bakers are all eager to get back to making our delicious offerings for you as soon as possible, and we appreciate your understanding.

Free dispensed water in three of our stores!

The Town of Hillsborough has issued a boil water notice. Unfortunately, this means our Hillsborough store is still unable to provide prepared food service or other functions requiring potable water, and our Food House is not currently operating. But if you’re in Hillsborough and need drinking water, please feel free to fill bottles at our filtered water filling station in Carrboro or Southern Village (or Raleigh, if you’re out that way). Our water station is free for the month of July.
