Free AHRQ Program for HAI Prevention

The Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ), in partnership with National Opinion Research Center at the University of Chicago and Johns Hopkins University, is recruiting hospitals to participate in the free AHRQ Safety Program for Healthcare-Associated Infection (HAI) Prevention.

This national initiative focuses on implementing updated, evidence-based infection prevention toolkits designed to reduce HAIs across the United States, and includes a prevention program for ventilator-associated pneumonia/ventilator-associated events (VAP/VAEs).

Hospitals participating in the program will have access to evidence-based resources and support designed to enhance patient safety and reduce HAIs, specifically VAP/VAEs.
