The Clinicians in Clinical Practice KEG has been renamed the Community Hospital KEG to better suit clinicians practicing in community and nonacademic settings. The new name provides a clearer identity and improves visibility among community-based critical care professionals.

The deadline for SCCM members to submit articles for the January 2027 issue of Critical Connections is November 1, 2026.


You don't need to start from scratch! You can write about recent presentations, webcasts, chapter or section events, quality improvement initiatives, or other projects you've been working on. AI tools can also help you brainstorm, organize, draft, and refine your content.


We also want to share member accomplishments, so if you've gotten a promotion, published new research, or had any other recent wins, let us spread the word to your fellow members!
