SVP Jim Damicis Receives Maine Center Award

On June 8, Senior Vice President Jim Damicis received a Distinguished Alumni Award at the 2026 Maine Center Awards ceremony in Portland. The University of Maine Graduate and Professional Center (Maine Center) Awards honor outstanding alumni and leaders in business, law, policy, engineering, and innovation. Jim is a graduate of the University of Southern Maine’s Muskie School of Public Service.

“I am honored and humbled to receive this recognition,” Jim said in a LinkedIn post. “USM and the Muskie School of Public Service have contributed so much to my professional success and the success of Camoin Associates. Congrats to all awardees and to these great institutions for what they do for Maine.”

New Owners & New Hires

We are excited to announce that our Director of Industry and Workforce, Alexandra Tranmer, CEcD, and Director of ProspectEngage®, Dillion Roberts, are Camoin Associates’ newest shareholders/owners!

Superstar employees for a combined total of 17 years, both started in entry-level positions and worked their way up to service line leadership. They exemplify the company’s values of team, passion, innovation, thought, and care, and we couldn’t be happier to welcome them to this new leadership role.

We also welcomed two new staff members to the team: Sandlin Preecs (Project Manager) and Hannah Ransom (Economic Data and Research Analyst). They will both work on projects across a variety of our service lines.
