π Camoin Associates Launches Economic Resilience-Building Service Line
Economic disruption isn't a distant threat; it's a present reality for communities across the country.
We're excited to announce the launch of our Economic Resilience-Building service line, a formalized offering built on the foundation of work we've already been doing with communities navigating change, uncertainty, and the need for stronger, more adaptable local economies.
As Senior Vice President Jim Damicis puts it: "Building economic resilience goes beyond recovery. Communities must remain human-centered, focusing on what resilience means for residents, workers, and entrepreneurs: the ability to thrive, prosper, and clearly seeβand accessβopportunity."
That philosophy is at the core of everything we do in this space, from resilience assessment and mapping to implementation and funding support.
To bring this work to life, we partnered with interns from the University of Southern Maine's Muskie School of Public Service to conduct in-depth economic resilience case studies in two Maine communities: the City of Lewiston and the Town of Stonington. These cases gave us a deep look at the conditions that drive resilience, and the practical strategies that actually move the needle.
You can explore both case studies and the full scope of our Economic Resilience-Building services on our website. Learn more and read the case studies.
