As 2024 comes to a close, Camoin Associates is taking some time off to spend with our families, celebrate the holidays, and reflect on the past year. It has been an exciting year for our team, and we’re grateful for the chance to take a deep breath.
2024 was significant for us in many ways:
- We celebrated our 25th anniversary and successfully navigated a leadership transition.
- We spun off ProspectEngage™ as its own company, with our founder, Rob Camoin, leading the charge as President and CEO.
- We completed over 160 projects in 27 states across the US.
- We attended 10 conferences and connected with hundreds of new colleagues, friends, and clients.
- We gathered in Saratoga Springs, NY, for an in-person company retreat where we got to know each other better (we’re a 100% remote company with staff located across the country), worked on our 2025 strategic plan, and enjoyed some fun together (so much fun!).
We are looking forward to hitting the ground running in 2025 with some exciting new projects, including:
- Economic development strategy for the City of Newton, MA
- Economic development and tourism plan for Talbot County, MD
- Empire State Development’s (NY) ProspectEngage™ subscription and business attraction effort
- Economic impact analysis of the SnowBowl in Camden, ME
We will also welcome two new analysts to our team!
For 2025, I’m most excited and grateful for the opportunity to continue supporting the Camoin Associates team in the hard work they are doing across the country.
I do not take for granted the trust our clients place in us to be their partners as they work to ensure their communities are resilient, thriving, and sustainable. Being a part of this important work is humbling, and I look forward to seeing what we can accomplish in 2025.
