‌Message from CEO

We are winding down our current 2025-26 membership year and preparing for what's ahead. As I shared at our recent Member Business Meeting, we have made good progress over the past year. Our membership remains strong, welcoming more than a dozen new and returning member libraries. Our continuing education offerings flourished - over 60 learning events for over 6,000 registered attendees from 485 institutions (as of March 31, 2026). Our subscription and renewal services helped libraries save over $3 million on electronic resources from a range of popular vendors. Over 165,000 parcels shipped through our TExpress and Trans-Amigos Express courier networks (as of March 31, 2026). And six libraries launched in our new digital repository service. In addition to the guidance of the Board of Directors, I have had the privilege of speaking with dozens of library deans and directors who provided their advice, guidance, and aspirations for Amigos' future. We are excited for our new strategic framework and look forward to populating that framework with the activities that will guide our next several years’ work.

As we begin our next membership year, I hope we can continue to work together to grow our programs and services and build new opportunities. Please reach out at membership@amigos.org or email me directly at figueroa@amigos.org to talk more about how Amigos can partner with your library.

Instead of opening directly to the label-making screen, users will now start on a dashboard that brings important information together in one place.
