‌Congratulations to Azle Memorial Library on Award

Congratulations to new Amigos member Azle Memorial Library on receiving the Achievement of Excellence in Libraries Award, a distinguished honor given annually by the Texas Municipal Library Directors Association (TMLDA). To receive this honor, a library must demonstrate excellence across multiple service areas, such as community outreach, literacy support, digital inclusion, collaboration, and innovative programming. ‌Amy Drayer to Keynote Digital Accessibility in Libraries Conference

Join us on Wednesday, February 25, 2026, for Digital Accessibility in Libraries. The Amigos online conference will open with a keynote from the University of Minnesota’s Amy Drayer, followed by multiple concurrent sessions. Attendees will gain a clear understanding of ADA Title II, what it means for libraries, and practical frameworks and tools to support their digital accessibility work. Free for Amigos members.

College Students Actually Do Read‌

Two library teams partnered to challenge the assumption that college students don’t read and to amplify underrepresented voices through community-driven collections. They are sharing their project’s findings in the new Amigos Know & Go: College Students Actually Do Read.
