Thanks for your interest in the work we’re doing to create A
Wilder Tomorrow! Our conservation
work includes a variety of animal and plant species, so look for stories about
gardening for wildlife, sustainable practices, coexisting with wildlife,
research being done to save species, and more! We’ll also share ways that you
can get involved and take action for wildlife.
We're thrilled to have you join us!

MAKING AN IMPACT
FOR MEXICAN WOLVES
Cincinnati Zoo is doubling down on Mexican wolf conservation efforts by adding a brand-new habitat for a second pack and by playing a leadership role in a reintroduction effort that has successfully grown the wild population from 7 to 700!!
Cincinnati Zoo
& Botanical Garden has been an active member of the Manatee Rescue &
Rehabilitation Partnership (MRP) since 1999.
Since that time, it has rehabilitated 35 of these amazing creatures and has returned 31 to their native Florida waters. Last month, three former residents of the Zoo's Manatee Springs were part of a collaborative effort to release 20+ manatees.
Since 1993, the
Barrows Conservation Lecture Series has brought a slate of esteemed naturalists
and scientists to Cincinnati to address wildlife issues and global conservation
efforts. Join in person or virtually!
Just like how a manatee will never pass up a
tasty sea lettuce salad, you are most suited to choose organic or sustainable
produce. Organic groceries do not use fertilizers or chemical pesticides which
reduces run-off from agriculture areas and polluted water that eventually
reaches manatees off the coast!
