Dan Divelbiss of North Hadrian LLC, recently installed a solar-powered irrigation system at Horses on the Hill (HOTH), an equine therapy and farming facility. The new, off-grid system is now providing water for a 1,500 sq ft (24 raised beds + orchard rows) garden area. The food grown here is used for HOTH's Farm to Table program, which makes fresh, affordable produce available to the community.
Funds raised from Behind the Scenes Tours at the Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden support conservation initiatives locally and globally. Sign up to see your favorite animal or plant up close and help the planet while you enjoy a unique experience.
