NACo is launching a new series of member calls to provide timely updates and analysis on key developments during the first 100 days of the Trump Administration. The calls will focus on policies and actions that directly impact counties.

The NACo Legislative Conference brings together nearly 2,000 elected and appointed county officials to focus on federal policy issues that impact counties and our residents. This one-of-a-kind event is now less than six weeks away!
Policy resolutions: The Interim Policy Resolutions Portal gives counties the chance to shape NACo’s federal policy priorities by submitting resolutions for consideration.
Other conference highlights include curated policy sessions and opportunities to interact with officials from the new Administration or meet with members of Congress.
The application deadline for NACo’s second County Juvenile Justice Innovation Network (CJJIN) cohort has been extended to tomorrow, Jan. 23 at 11:59 p.m. ET. This nine-month program helps counties create action plans to strengthen local youth justice systems.
Program overview: Five selected counties will form cross-system teams to engage in virtual sessions and an in-person site visit.

Applications are now open for NACo's Counties for Housing Solutions (C4HS) cohort. C4HS will offer free, implementation-focused technical assistance to help counties develop underutilized county-owned land as affordable housing.
